Exhibits

Lake Creek Historical Society celebrates early area pioneer families, local schools, tools and various artifacts of a by-gone age.

Also on display are works by local artist Teresa Schleigh.  Check out our oral histories that have been transcribed and are now in our library.

Some displays we have added are about the Indian heritage of our area and Military history of our local residents.  One display is about master craftsman, Victor Gardener, a world renowned violin maker and his pioneer family that settled in the Lake Creek Area.

We now have a wall mounted swing display that has maps showing area sites of schools, a grist mill, a manganese mine, sawmills and oral histories relating to ‘Hunting stories’.

Come by and enjoy the exhibits inside the Pioneer Hall and learn about the history of this area.
